River Grove community pressured washed. Jeffery Jacobs from
Jacobs Pressure Cleaning has started today on the Park area.
He will be doing all sides of the white fences including
those along South Tropical Trail where vegetation is not
covering the fence. Please Note Jeffrey will
be working in back yards where there is white fencing. Here
is his web site so you can recognize him (his picture is
included).

IMPORTANT:
The monthly
Board and Architectural (ARC) Meeting have changed to the
third Thursday of the Month. The ARC meets
from 6:30 - 7:00 PM and Board meets from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at
the Georgianna United Methodist Church.
IMPORTANT:
There have been
ongoing problems with non River Grove residents using the
pier. They leave behind lots of trash and cut up bait fish
on the benches and railings. It has been discussed by the
board that a helpful solution would be to install a lock on
the gate. The cost will be $494.72, which includes
reconstruction of the gate and installation of a
double-sided key lock. There is an additional cost of $375
for 125 keys which cannot be duplicated, for a total of
$869.72. The board will have homeowners sign for the keys
before giving them out and there will be a $75
lost/replacement fee per key. The board determined that $900
should cover all costs. Wendy made a motion to approve and
Lea Ann seconded it and all others approved.
The board members will be handing out the keys with a form
to be filled out and signed or you may call Rob Zuchowski
and set up a time to stop over and pick up your key. His
home phone is 321-305-4148.
Urgent:
As recent as Tuesday, April 5, another vehicle in a driveway
was ransacked. The vandals also used the garage door opener
taken from the car to raise the garage high enough to crawl
under it and look around the garage for other possible
things to pilfer. They also kept the garage door opener (the
code has since been changed) perhaps in an attempt to
return. Please always keep your vehicles locked when parked
in the driveway as this has become an ongoing problem.
Motion sensor lights by the garage would also be a
deterrent.

Fireworks: Any
fireworks that fly are illegal and, therefore, prohibited
in our community. Residents are encouraged to notify the
police of any seen violators. In addition to being illegal,
fireworks that fly present a significant fire hazard and,
as such, it is in everyone's best interest to prevent their
use. Please respect your neighbors when using legal fireworks
by cleaning up any residue from your use.
A
huge thanks to our Directors who volunteer their valuable
time to serve our community!
A Few Reminders...
*
No yard trash/clippings to the street before Tuesday night
(yard waste pickup is Wednesday).
* Please take in your garbage containers the same day
they are emptied.
When
placing papers in the recycle bins,
please place an object on top so the papers don't blow
away.
* Boulevard trees need to be trimmed so that anyone walking
on the sidewalk doesn’t get hit by the tree’s
branches. There are also a few boulevard trees
still leaning from past
hurricane seasons.
* Do not drain excess pool water into the street! The water
flows into our lakes and changes the chemical balance, destroying
fish and plants.
If
anyone is interested in putting together a brief history
of River Grove for this website, please let us
know!
